Disappearing for a few weeks \u2013 that was my way out, my way of putting my thoughts and emotions back in order. My only thought was: I have to get out of this stressful environment. But how? And where to?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meine Schwester hat mich dann zu sich eingeladen… und… ich bin gegangen. Andere Menschen, ein anderes Zimmer, andere Meinungen und eine neue Art, die Welt zu betrachten. Ich habe alles ganz bewusst wahrgenommen: Ich habe gesehen, gerochen, gef\u00fchlt und geh\u00f6rt. Ich habe die Kritiken und Ansichten der anderen aufgesogen, um meine eigenen neu zu sortieren.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I accept who I am, but I have listened to what others have had to say about me. I have often been told that I shouldn\u2019t do this or that, and that things would be better one way or another. I listen \u2013 but I always make the decisions about myself and my life entirely on my own.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I have taken in a lot and tried to understand other points of view and perspectives. Sometimes they have been spot-on, while other times they haven\u2019t fit at all. They are simply the opinions of people who have their own experiences and ideas, which often don\u2019t match my own. But it has been interesting to hear them and perhaps take one thing or another from them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Listening is a good thing \u2013 especially when it comes to people who love, respect, and know us. People whom we ourselves value and whom we consider successful in one way or another. I listened to everything they had to say, then sorted through it, took my time to think about it, and only took on board what truly felt right for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything somehow feels easier now\u2026 The atmosphere at home has improved, and the conversations here are better too\u2026 and no longer so difficult\u2026 I can think more clearly now and make new, clear decisions\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end, it was a good decision to go to my sister\u2019s. I came home with a breath of \u201cfresh air\u201d\u2026 Things are looking up now!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
